In reading the fallout from the Indiana Pacers strip club incident I was intrigued by the following statement, “Police said they found a small amount of marijuana in the passenger-side door of point guard Tinsley's car. But no arrests were made because there were three others in Tinsley's car and police could not determine who had the marijuana, authorities said.”
This brings new relevance to the term safety in numbers. What if four people not in the Association were involved in a fight outside a strip club and police found marijuana in their car? Would the police arrest someone?
More importantly, what does this mean for the Pacers' fantasy basketball prospects? Will Jackson miss time? Will Marquis Daniels get extra minutes? Also, on a road trip to Boston will Larry Bird and Rick Carlisle team up to get Jackson with an old joke they played on Jerry Sichting, which involved telling Sichting they would meet him at the Ramrod to watch a game?
If you're struggling to get the joke consider the following:
1. Bird and Carlisle didn't show up.
2. What kind of bar do you think the Ramrod was?
